This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate the 'Name' field label on the WooCommerce Checkout page, but it is missing in the WPML String Translation after being accidentally deleted.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, we recommend trying the following methods:
Method 1:
Navigate to WPML > String Translation. At the bottom of the page, enable the checkbox labeled "Look for strings while pages are rendered". Then, visit the front end of the page where the 'Name' string appears, and return to WPML > String Translation to search for the string again.
Method 2:
If the string is not found in the WPML > String Translation, it might be categorized as an admin text string. You can find and translate admin text strings by following the steps outlined in our documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution becomes outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If necessary, please open a new support ticket at https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the Checkout page (WooCommerce) on my site hidden link. I have 5 fields, and 4 field labels are translated successfully. However, the field label 'Name' (Όνομα in Greek) is nowhere to be found so I can translate it too. Previously, I searched for the label 'Name' and received 4 results and I deleted the first one using 'Delete selected strings'.

Symptoms:
The field label 'Name' (Όνομα in Greek) is missing and cannot be found for translation.

Questions:
Is there any way I can restore the deleted string?
Is there a way to translate the missing field label?

Hi there.

The proper way to translate strings depends a lot on how they have been implemented inside the theme/plugin.

Please try both methods and see if any of them resolves the issue. By using the scanning, we might find the missing string again and have WPML register it.

Method 1:

Go to WPML > String Translation and at the bottom of the page you will find a checkbox called "Look for strings while pages are rendered". You can enable (check) that and then go to the front end to a page where you have that string showing up and then go back to WPML > String Translation and search for that string and see if it now shows up.

Method 2: If you can't find them inside the WPML > String Translation, they might be added as admin text strings.

This should be the normal process to find and translate admin text strings:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

Please let us know how that goes.
