This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is seeing a notification in their WordPress backoffice stating that the WPML plugin is unable to connect to wpml.org, which is necessary for checking new versions and security updates.
Solution:
We recommend checking if this is a false-positive caused by server caching. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Commercial.
2. Click the "check for updates" button.
3. If the page refreshes and WPML still shows as registered, the notification is likely a false positive and should disappear once the cache clears.
If the issue persists, it might be due to outdated information or a different problem. We suggest visiting the known issues page, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and ensuring that you have the latest versions of themes and plugins installed.

If the solution provided here does not resolve your issue, please open a new support ticket. We highly recommend checking related known issues and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, you can reach out to us on the WPML support forum.

This message is appear on our backoffice we don't understand 🙂

Unable to connect WPML plugin to wpml.org
WPML must be connected to its server to check for new versions and security updates. A network or security settings problem is preventing this connection. Please allow outbound communication to wpml.org to remove this notification.

Hi there.

There's a big chance that what you are seeing is a false-positive that remained in the server caching and the notification will be removed automatically when the cache will automatically clear on its own.

To check if that's a false positive, go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial > click the "check for updates" button and if the page refreshes and WPML is still showing as registered, then yes, that is just a false positive.

Please let me know how that goes.

Kind regards,
