This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to access the Elementor builder for the Spanish version of a page to verify and set a specific ID ('featured'). Additionally, there were issues with translating a cookie policy link generated by the Complianz plugin. Solution: For the Elementor issue, we recommended setting the ID for a widget under the Advanced tab in Elementor for the original page and then translating the page. It's important to manually check the translated page in Elementor to ensure the ID is correctly applied. More details can be found here: https://elementor.com/help/create-anchor-links/ For the Complianz issue, although the banner was translatable, the link to the cookie policy generated by the plugin was problematic. We suggested verifying if the URL needed translation or could remain the same for both language versions.

Hi there,
I've been trying to submit a support ticket but it's sending me in a loop where I can't actually create the ticket.
This is the issue I'm having that I'm hoping you can help with:

So how to get the translated page to show below the custom link (Our Partners) in the Spanish version, and how to get a URL for the Spanish version that isn't a page ID, but a translation of the English version of the URL?
Thanks
Sharon
I have a custom menu for my Discover Real Estate page, Jungle Pod, and my Forever Smile Dentists page within nicaseeker.com which are pages found under Our Partners in the English menu. Those menus are Elementor menu widgets that purely provide custom urls based on anchors for sections on the page. I need to create Spanish versions for the Spanish pages and I'm not sure honw to do this. The bot gave me code to insert, but I already have code in my settings and don't want to insert the new code in the wrong place. The code fixes yet another issue with Directorist which claims to be WPML compatible but is not. If you are able to insert the code the bot recommended in the right place, so that the menu with custom URLs works, that would be appreciated.
Update: I appear to have resolved everything myself now other than one thing:
Please see this loom:

The child menu item doesn't jump to the corresponding anchor in the Spanish version, even though the anchor is the same as the English version. Yet all the other anchors work perfectly in English and Spanish versions.
While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to assist you in the meantime.
I’ve checked the ES page and I don’t see the same ID/anchor as on the original page. In Elementor, you can set an ID for a widget under the Advanced tab. After setting it, translate the page. To ensure it has been translated correctly, you can also manually edit the translated page in Elementor and verify that the same widget has the correct ID applied.
I've tried editing the ES page with Elementor, but I can't access the builder to check the correct ID is there aka "featured" ... I can only edit the English version of the page with Elementor. So how can I check and insert "featured" in the ID if I can't access it via Elementor? Only via the standart WordPress editor and there it says any changes will be lost next time I send the page for translation ... there must be another way?
Update: I checked in the WPML advanced translator, and "featured" menu anchor had been translated! It shouldn't have been. I restored it to the English version for both English and ES menu anchor text, and now it works 😉
Another issue that has arisen, relates to Complianz - I researched and saw that WPML was supposed to be compatible with this plugin for generating Cookie Policy and banners. However, this loom shows how it's a shortcode that operates - and I'm wondering whether it's possible to translate or not?

The banner is translatable, and that has worked perfectly - but the link to the cookie policy below it, that was generated by the plugin after scanning cookies on the site, has not seemed possible to translate - but I may be missing something? And do I translate the URL for the cookie policy or leave it as cookie-policy for both versions?
Ok, so I have the full Cookie Policy translated and the only remaining issue is that the name of the page isn't showing - only the pageID - not sure what I need to do to get that part fixed?

Also, incognito, I notice that the page is showing as page not found ... and Cookie policy is still showing rather than the translated version in the banner:
thanks for getting back, glad to hear you managed to fix your issues.
In order to keep the topic of the ticket clear and easily understandable for other readers, I have opened new ticket for your latest report and I will get back to you there
There does appear to be a bigger issue ... I have page nicaseeker.com/forever-smile-dentists, and when WPML plugins are deactivated, it works fine. When they are activated though, I can't access the Elementor page builder and the layout looks terrible - like it's bypassing Elementor page viewer altogether and I'm seeing a page that looks like it's being served without Elementor making it look nice. I tested deactivating and then reactivating both WPML plugins, - deactivating fixed the issue. I then reactivated both WPML plugins and then the page worked fine again. But it leaves me nervous that there's something else going on ... and this is a client page that they have paid for, so I need to make sure it continues to work.
