This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to see all text from their pages in the WPML Advanced Translator. Specifically, custom widgets in Elementor are not appearing for translation.
Solution:
We recommend checking if the theme and plugins used are WPML-certified. In this case, the theme includes custom widgets that might not be fully compatible with WPML. These can typically be identified at the bottom of the Elementor widget list on your pages—widgets without icons are likely affected. For further guidance on registering custom Elementor widgets for translation, please refer to Registering Custom Elementor Widgets for Translation.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate pages on my site hidden link using WPML. I have read some information, including the guide at https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/, but nothing helps.

Symptoms:
Some of the text from the page doesn't show in the advanced translator.

Questions:
Why doesn't all text from the pages show in the advanced translator? And what can i do in this case it's the home page and if you look at the English version is not translated. For instance on the top of the page

Hi,

Thank you! It looks like you’re using a custom Elementor widget provided by your theme "One Listing" which is not certified to use with WPML. To make this widget appear in the translation editor, you’ll need to generate an XML configuration as outlined here: Registering Custom Elementor Widgets for Translation.

Please try this first on a separate staging environment, or at least make a backup before proceeding.

Best regards,
Marcel

Good morning,
I saw now and I don't need to use this and change to ordinary title and text widget. Just want to point out that you say that Directorist plugin is compatible to WPML and there have been many many issues so maybe not declare this. I chosed this directory plugin for the reason that it was compatible with yours.

Thanks,
Annika

Hi Annika,

Apologies, it seems the link was cut off. Here’s the correct one: Registering Custom Elementor Widgets for Translation.

The theme and plugin are from the same developers, but only the plugin is WPML-certified. Your theme includes several custom widgets that might not be fully compatible. You can identify these at the bottom of the Elementor widget list on your pages—widgets without icons are likely affected.

Please note that the plugin’s integration was implemented by its authors, not by us, and the last update appears to have been in June 2022. Currently, we don’t have any known compatibility issues with the Directorist Business Directory Plugin.

Best regards,
Marcel
