Background of the issue:
I added a new element with Elementor to the English version of the home page on my site hidden link. I want this element to be visible on the translated Lithuanian version.

Symptoms:
The new element added to the English version of the home page is not visible on the Lithuanian version.

Questions:
Why is the new element not visible on the translated Lithuanian version of the home page?

While one of my teammates is handling your ticket, I’d like to provide some initial debugging steps.

Could you please try updating the page translation once more?

To do this:
1. Make a slight change to the original page.
2. Save the page.
3. Open the WPML Translation Editor.
4. Complete the translation again.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for your reply. You might be editing the translated page and not the primary language page. May I know what's your primary language?

If I try to edit Lithuanian version of home page, I get a message saying that I am trying to edit the translation and should not do that. So English is the primary language for home page.

Thanks for your reply. I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thank you very much for your help. It seems to work now. Could you please explain what we need to do to translate home page edits correctly next time to avoid contacting you again?

Thanks for your reply. You need to follow the correct steps to translate a page.

1. Always edit the primary language page and make the changes there.

2. Re-translate the page so that the changes can be carried over and translated.

3. Recheck the frontend.
