This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing a 404 error when trying to link the Litespeed extension with QUIC.cloud, caused by WPML redirecting the request to an error page.
Solution:
We initially tested the process without WPML activated and encountered a similar issue, indicating that the problem might not be solely related to WPML. After reactivating WPML and resaving the permalinks, the connection to QUIC.cloud was successful. We recommend the client to:
1. Deactivate WPML temporarily to check if the issue persists.
2. Resave the permalinks in WordPress, which can often resolve incorrect routing issues.
3. Reactivate WPML and test the connection to QUIC.cloud again.

If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I want to use Litespeed with their cloud extension, but during the validation, WPML redirects to a 404 page. I am trying to link my Litespeed extension with QUIC.cloud, but the request from the remote server gets redirected to an error page due to the WPML plugin. The original request is hidden link.

Symptoms:
An error message occurs when WPML redirects the request to another page, resulting in a 404 error. The redirection is indicated by the headers: < x-redirect-by: WPML < location: hidden link.

Questions:
Why does WPML redirect the request to a 404 page?
How can I prevent WPML from interfering with the Litespeed extension connection to QUIC.cloud?

Hi,

do you have a staging environment where we can run some tests in isolation?

I would eventually also need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –
in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I would additionally need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

✙ Please add the Links to the […] Edit Screen, the Page/Post where you insert the […] and the corresponding Front End Page/Screen

Best Regards,
Marcel

Hi,

I tried to start the process on hidden link via the button, but it also doesn't work if WPML is deactivated.

Cloud Error: Please try after 1m 36s for service tool/wp_rest_echo.
...
QUIC.cloud's access to your WP REST API seems to be blocked.

Once I reactivated all, it seemed to work:

Activate QUIC.cloud Service
Detecting server type and IP for dev.pbm-center.ch

Do not leave this window
Please do not close this window or open a new window while setting up connection.

If you navigate away at any point, connection will not complete....

Now, without WPML, it happens again. After resaving the permalinks, it worked. Can you confirm this? WPML is now active, and I can see the login from the quic cloud.

Best Regards,
Marcel
