Hello,

I have my product categories that are created and translated into 2 languages.
however when I add an image in a category it does not add it for the translated category

example

ALPHA French it is added but I wish it also adds automatically for ALPHA dutch it does not add it so I have to do it manually and it will take me time.

I followed the 2 instructions here but it does not work ...

Hello

The link you have suggests the two key steps:

- Go to the Multilingual Option section for setting the term meta translation, ( e.g. thumbnail_id ) to "copy" instead of "do not translate".

- then update the source category (original language)

From what you write, you said that these steps did not work. Please try them again in the following setup:
- all non-WPML Plugins deactivated except for woocommerce
- activate the Storefront theme temproarily while you repeat the above steps.

If this still does not work for you, please send us a copy fo your site in the minimal setup/configuration as per this article. Use a filesharing service to send us the resulting files - do not attempt to upload the package to the forum.

There may have been a plugin that caused a conflict with the process and the minimal setup removed this.

You can restore your normal setup now if it is working.

If all is ok, we can close this ticket.

no I didn't touch anything 🙂
I tried to add in French it did not work then in Dutch it worked, then in French it works now
