<b>Background of the issue: </b>
I am trying to display translated texts on the right side of the events on the single event page of my site hidden link. I have already translated the texts: "Details", "Start:", "End:", "Cost:", "Organizer". I followed suggestions from WPML documentation, including these links: https://wpml.org/errata/the-events-calendar-root-page-displays-blank-when-using-url-parameters/, https://wpml.org/errata/the-events-calendar-pro-recurring-events-venue-details-and-maps-issues/, https://wpml.org/errata/the-events-calendar-translation-issues-for-certain-strings-with-non-block-themes/, https://wpml.org/errata/wp-6-7-translations-not-loaded-for-the-events-calendar-plugin/. Here is the link for German (hidden link) and Greek (hidden link) event page.

<b>Symptoms: </b>
I cannot see the translated texts on the right side of the events on the single event page.

<b>Questions: </b>
What could be the issue with the translated texts not appearing on the single event page?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

I need to take a closer look at your site. So I request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP), preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your next answer will be private, to share this information safely.

Also provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue and links to pages in the admin and on the frontend.

IMPORTANT: Please take a complete backup of the site to avoid data loss. I may need to activate/deactivate plugins also.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

Regards.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

I see that the site is using a lot of custom code via WP Code plugin, as well as, a heavily customized theme. Because as I switched to standard WP theme 2021, I can see the whole page at hidden link spitting out lot of shortcodes.

However, I can see the said strings translated correctly (see attached).

But unfortunately I can not check further because the site has gone unresponsive. So to continue further, I'll recommend checking with the following steps:

1) Take a full backup of your site and database before proceeding. It is highly advised to try these on a dev or staging site first, so your live site isn't compromised.
2) Deactivate all plugins except WPML, String Translation and The Events Calendar.
3) Switch to a standard theme like 2024 or 2021.
4) Check for the issue if it still happens.
5) Then start activating plugins one by one while keep checking for the issue. This way you 'll be able to pinpoint a conflict when & where it starts creating the problem.
6) If after activating all plugins you see that it still works fine, then switch to your theme and see if that's causing it.

Please let me know and I'll try my best to help you further on the matter.
