I write the phrases that are not translated in Polish, edit the foreign-language page, delete the buttons, modules and fragments that are in Polish, save them.
I come back in 3 days and I have all these Polish and deleted phrases
additionally, when we translate pages and we have a structured page structure. When we try to translate such pages with this "circle and arrow", the entire structure resets. There is no parent and no children, everything is falling apart.
If we give you data to the wp-admin panel, will you be able to look and see what's going on? maybe we have something set wrong there. I guess the debugging we sent is enough.
I have now corrected the memory to 256mb (in the debugging code it will be even less)
Generally, we want to use an advanced translation editor, but then we have to set all our ACFs to expert, but if we set them to expert, we have to set each field separately and how it should behave, and we have a lot of acf blocks, so it is impossible.
So we cannot translate pages using the advanced translation editor, and in addition, after saving the current changes, the structure of the page is broken, in Polish it is OK - we translate the page and suddenly we have a layout without parents in the English version.
Before proceeding further, may I ask you to try the following?
IMPORTANT: Take full backup of your website and database beforehand. It is highly advised to try the following on a staging/dev site first, so your live website isn't compromised.
- Switch to a standard WordPress theme like 2021, 2023 or 2024 because current theme isn't on our compatibility list (https://wpml.org/theme/). So we can ensure if problem isn't coming from there.
- Deactivate all plugins except WPML and ACF and check for the issue.
- Activate each plugin one-by-one, while keeping check on the issue after a plugin is activated. This way you'll be able to pinpoint a plugin having a conflict (or problem), if any.
Please let me know and I'll try my best to further assist you on the matter.
