Problem:
You are experiencing issues where translations revert to older versions or to automatic translations, even though you have stopped the automatic translation process.
Solution:
If you're facing this issue with specific phrases or words reverting, we recommend using a glossary to manage your translations more effectively. A glossary can help ensure that your preferred translations are used consistently. For guidance on setting up and managing a glossary, please visit how to create and manage glossary entries.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit translations and ensure they stay the way I've edited them. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
Translations have rolled back to older versions without explanation. Some translations keep reverting to the automatic translation version, even though I stopped the automatic translation.

Questions:
Why do translations keep reverting to older versions?
How can I ensure my edited translations remain unchanged?

I’m sorry that you ran into trouble with this.

Could you please provide a step-by-step process accompanied by screenshots? This would help me observe and understand the issue more effectively.

I also noticed that your WordPress installation has not been updated. Please make sure to update it, along with any relevant plugins and the current theme.

Before making any changes, remember to back up your database first.

Thank you for your explanation. Am I correct in understanding that translation reverts for specific phrases or words? If that’s the case, have you considered using a glossary?

Please take a look at how to use a glossary for accurate translations:

Have a lovely weekend.
