This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing issues with WPML plugins not updating automatically as expected, even though auto-updates are enabled in WordPress.
Solution:
We have confirmed that auto-updates are enabled and you are using the latest version of WPML. It's important to understand that we release our latest major versions in cohorts. This means that while the latest version is immediately available for manual download on our website, the WordPress interface might not show an update notification until a few days later, depending on your cohort assignment. For example, if we release a new version on Monday, cohort 1 receives it on Monday, cohort 2 on Tuesday, and so on.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Hi there,

I can see that auto updates is enabled and that you are using the latest version of WPML.

One thing to note is that we release the latest major versions in cohorts.

That means that while our website will always list the latest version as available for manual download, the WP interaface might not receive a notice that an update is ready until a few days later.

Also, some users might be at an earlier cohort than others.

Example:

we release a new version on Monday --> immediately available on our website
cohort 1 --> receives it Monday
cohort 2 _--> receives it Tuesday
etc
etc
