Can't translate custom plugin

cornelisS	I am trying to: Translate our custom cookie banner to English. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: The cookie banner is currently disabled. I expected to see: The dutch translations. Instead, I got: When I try to translate "This website uses cookies". It resets all of my translated strings. Also for some reason the English translations do exist on the website, but for some reason they have a dutch flag above the translations and the English translations in the screenshot are nowhere to be found.
