Background of the issue:
I’m trying to display the same number of properties when switching between languages (in the top right corner) on the page viewable at the link: hidden link. All properties have been translated as shown in the WP-ADMIN section --> Real Estate --> Properties.
Symptoms:
The number of properties does not match across any language; there is always a difference compared to the Italian version. The property count is much lower in German and slightly lower in Russian and English.
Questions:
Why is there a discrepancy in the property count display across different languages?
How can I ensure the property count matches across all languages?
Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
Please go to Real Estate-> Properties, switch the language to the translated languages, filter by the status Draft, and publish the drafted translation posts.
After that, please check the count on the front end. Kindly let me know if publishing the drafts fixes the issue.
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the properties to be published overlap, and only those that should NOT be published in any language are in draft.
What else can I do? Thank you.
Best regards,
Sara Carbone
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Thanks for the access details. I checked the issue and found that even Italian doesn't show the correct number. (Kindly check this hidden link">screenshot)
So, I deactivated WPML and checked the numbers without it, which was also incorrect. (Kindly check this hidden link">screenshot)
I don't think the issue is related to the translation process. It might be the status term count in the theme or the fact that some properties don't have an assigned status.
Thank you. However, as you can see from the images, the database shows all three translations for both languages (Region: Abruzzo, City: Teramo, For Sale). On the Italian page, all three are visible, but on the German page, only two appear.
What could be the issue?
Thanks
Sara
Thanks for your reply. Please let me know if you see these results on the live or staging site. On the staging site, I see two results inhidden link"> Italian and German.
Hi Osama.. you can try with : (Region: Basilicata, City: Matera, For Sale)
You'll see that in the database (both German and Italian), there is one property per language. On the Italian page, it appears, but on the German page, no property is shown.
Thank you
Sara
I opened the properties page and searched for the city name, and the result showed. I didn't do anything special.
However, I noticed that when you edit the same property in both languages, you see different settings/values in the property custom fields. (Kindly check this hidden link">screenshot)
Please check all the tabs in both languages, make sure that they have the same values, and update the German property.
Best regards,
Osama
