Problem:
You are trying to edit a translation but are being redirected to your admin dashboard instead of the translation editing page.
Solution:
We recommend running the troubleshooting option "Set Translation Information". You can find this by navigating to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting in your admin dashboard. This should resolve the redirection issue. Please verify if the problem persists after performing these steps.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit a translation but sometimes I am redirected to my admin dashboard page. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
Instead of being able to edit the English translation, I am redirected to the dashboard admin.

Questions:
Why am I being redirected to the admin dashboard when trying to edit a translation?
How can I fix the redirection issue when editing translations?

It looks like you're translating the page manually and not with the Advanced Translation Editor.

I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

I ran the troubleshooting option "Set Translation Information" here in WPML > Support > Troubleshooting link hidden link and the issue is fixed. Could you please check?

Thanks, yes it works.

Maybe it's linked but I have problem because translation is set to automaticaly, but it takes a lot of time to have the update in english.

For example, we uptaded this product 7 days ago maybe, and still no change in english.
