How can I show language code in language switcher ?

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Sorry for the delayed response - it has been a full queue for the past few days and it can take a bit longer to respond. In order to accomplish what you wanted (using the language abbreviation instead of the whole Language Name), please follow the steps here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/abbreviate-the-language-name-in-the-menu/#post-2435692 That should work. In regards to the 404 errors that you are seeing, yes, I think you might be referring to tickets that are more than 2 years old that have been archived to make sure the solutions showing up on Google searches are more accurate and actual. I'm sharing the recommended solution below and a screenshot with an example. Please follow the steps below: - Go to WPML > Languages > Site languages - Click on Edit Languages - Edit the Translation columns with the abbreviations - Save Please let me know how that went. Mihai
