[Resolved] Issue with Attribute name and variations
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Hello, I have a problem with my translation (Spanish to Catalan) in this case the attributes in some productes are not showing correctly. I have been following the steps of sincronizing the attributes in WPML Translation Management.
I've tried all the potential solutions to resolve the issue with translating attribute names, but unfortunately, none seem to be effective. You mentioned that the data originates from external sources and is configured through the "ng2wp" plugin. Upon checking, I found that only a directory path is configured in the plugin. Could it be that the translated product data is being stored in this directory and served from there?
If so, this could be causing the issue. May I have your permission to install the file manager plugin to see what type of data are being stored on that directory?
I might need to take a copy of your site to investigate the issue locally on my end. Therefore, I also need your permission to install the "All-in-one migration" plugin on your site and take a copy of the site.
Looking forward to your response and appreciate your patience and kind cooperation in this matter.
Hey, I discovered one thing meanwhile translating some products
In the advanced Translation Editor of WPML when the attribute appears (For example: L, S, M..) it works well (check images) if the exact sizes in this case doesn't show in the advanced translation editor and only shows pa_marca or pa_talla (the technical name of the attribute) and doesn't show the exactly size (pa_talla) or brand (pa_marca) it appears like the wrong form.
For this product(hidden link), I have noticed that custom attribute has been used and the name of the Attribute was saved as "pa_talla". I edited the default product, changed the Attribute name to "Talla" and then updated the Translation. Now, the translation is showing the Attribute name properly.
If you have used custom attributes and encountered the issue, please edit the product, make sure to add the attribute name correctly, and save the attribute and variations. After that, update the product and its translation as well.
For the product(hidden link), the attributes "pa_color" and "pa_tallaa" were not updating correctly in the frontend due to cached data being reloaded in the editor after each save. This prevented the correct information from being displayed in the frontend even after changes were made.
To resolve this, I deleted the translation completely, including from the Trash, and cleared all caches. Then, I re-translated the default product(hidden link). After these steps, the updated information was displayed correctly in both the editor and on the front end, and the attribute names were also shown correctly(Screenshot: hidden link).
Please always make sure to clear caches completely from your site and browser before adding the translation. if possible, please adjust the cache settings so that the updated data can appear correctly in the editor.
If there is anything else if you would like to share or need clarification, feel free to ask! I will be happy to help.
Thank you for solving this problem that I stated earlier. So now the whole problem of sizes and colors that we talked about yesterday has already been solved?
Can these cache modifications that you comment be carried out with the plugin we have installed? I'm commenting on it to make them as soon as possible.
Finally, was the overall problem we had yesterday due to a cache issue?
And one more thing, I found another product with the same thing problem of the name of the attributte (pa:talla)
I followed this step
1. Delete the translation also in the bin .
2. Clear cache.
3. Edit the translation with the Advanced Editor Translation and in this step I couldn't find to transalte the attribute to change from pa:talla to "Talla"
Where did you changed the name of the custom attribute? Thanks
I found that the translation is wrong is "Talla" not "Tallaa"
You can check image to understand what I'm saying.
If you can change it or say me step by step to how translate that attribute I will be grateful because I didn't find it to translate it correctly in the Advanced Translation Editor WPML.
In some products shows this can be translateable and others no, you know why?
Most of the issues seem to have been caused by caching. For instance, when I cleared the cache or deactivated the caching plugin, updated the page, and then updated the translation, I found that the contents were displayed correctly in the editor and also in the frontend.
If you ever experience issues with Variations/Attribute names in translations, please ensure you fully clear the caches or, if possible, deactivate them. Then, update the attribute/variation and save it first. Afterward, update the product and its translation.
Regarding the Attribute name issue("Tallaa"), I accidentally added an extra 'a' during testing and I apologize for not correcting it later. I have removed it by navigating to WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual > Attributes, selecting 'Talla' from the dropdown, and at the bottom, there's an option to translate the Attribute name (Screenshot: hidden link). I clicked on the pencil icon and updated the name. Now, the Attribute name appears correctly in the translation. Please check this screenshot: hidden link
I hope it helps. Feel free to let me know if there is anything else you need help with. I will be happy to assist.
