Background of the issue:
I am trying to display properties correctly on the English versions of my Property List pages using translated taxonomies (County/State, City, etc.). The French version works correctly, but the English version does not load any properties unless the filter is manually reselected by the user. Symptoms:
On the English page, the dropdown filter label shows the correct translated term ('Mauritius'), but no properties appear. If I manually reselect 'Mauritius' from the dropdown, the properties suddenly appear correctly. The translated label is shown, but the filter initially uses the wrong slug or term (likely the French term behind the scenes), causing the query to return no results. After manually choosing the English term again, the correct slug is used, and properties appear.
