A customer sent me a heads-up that the "order has been processed" email was sent partly in the wrong language.
The subject is in Swedish - Correct.
The headline in the email is in German - incorrect.
The rest of the email is correct.
I thought I would find out where this error occurs. But I've been looking for a good hour and can't find that strain, and now I am at a loss. What am I missing?
When I look at the email settings in WooCommerce, everything is in Swedish. When I check the translations - it looks correct. I've also been searching for the specific headline in string translations without coming up with any results. I can't seem to find the specific "Vielen Dank, dass du bei uns eingekauft hast" which in Swedish would be "Tack för att du handlar hos oss".
The article above explains how you can find strings other than what you already have under WPML > String translation .
If that didn't help, could you please install WP Mail Logging, which will catch all outgoing mail. You can see it from Tools > Mail log.
That way we can clearly see all mails.
If you have a staging site (or if you could test this under your live site), please, disable all other plugins and leave only WooCommerce and WPML plugins.
Then test your steps to add a new order and if the issue still happens, this should eliminate the possibility of another plugin conflicting with WPML,
Best,
