This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client reported that a translated page had disappeared, resulting in a broken link as indicated by the Broken Link Checker plugin. The missing page was not listed among the translated pages anymore. Solution: We asked the client to provide a screenshot of the original page while editing it to check the language box and confirm if the translation was complete. Upon reviewing the website, we found that the settings were correct and nothing suspicious was detected. We discovered that the translated page still existed but with a different slug, suggesting that the slug might have been changed, which could be why the Broken Link Checker plugin reported it as missing. The client managed to resolve the issue by re-editing the page that had disappeared.
If you're experiencing a similar issue, we recommend checking if the slug for the translated page has been changed. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.

My broken link checker informed me that a page has disappeared, which had been there before. The link is hidden link - it should lead to information about yoga, but now it leads to an error page.
The Summer Solstice yoga page has also disappeared from the list of translated pages completely. Can you please log into the back-end to see if you can retrieve it?
Well, without the Broken Link checker I wouldn't have noticed that yet another page had gone missing gone. It was translated maybe 2 months ago, so I don't have a screenshot, because I had no clue it had disappeared. This has happened before with a couple of pages. I wasn't doing anything, not even working on this page. And to be honest: It is not giving me feelings of trust in the WPML plug-in.
80 % of the time I translate and everything works well, 20 % of the time the pages either disappear or revert back to an older version. Without anyone doing anything.
This is the German page I am referring to: hidden link
So I am guessing like in the instances it happened before, the English translation is somewhere hidden in the background so that I can neither see nor access it.
I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site – preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible – in order to be of better help. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Thank you for providing me with the details. After reviewing your website, I can confirm that the settings are correct, and I couldn't find anything suspicious.
Regarding the page you mentioned hidden link, it doesn't exist, and this is what I can see.
However, you can access the correct translated page for hidden link through hidden link. The page translation hasn't disappeared, it still exists but with a different slug.
I'm unsure why the Broken Link Checker plugin reports the page as missing. Someone may have changed the slug for the translated page.
Good to know you found the translation. However, as for me, in my list of translations it's still not showing up (while all the other ones are there). I want it to be directly in the lists, like the other ones, so I can edit it directly.
I tried to edit it just now through the workaround you suggested, but all I get is an error message when I try to change the name that somehow must have changed through a WPML bug into the name that I had given to it. It should be hidden link
Thanks for putting it back up into the list so I can edit it and give it the right name once more.
