Vendors (translators) will use all provided information, including your translation memory and prepare bids (which appear on the Bids tab of your project). When you accept the bids the translation starts.

Additional details concerning project configuration, workflow and available options in Cloudwords can be found in the Cloudwords documentation.

Translation delivery

When the translation is ready in Cloudwords, it can be delivered to your website. Depending on your configuration, either WPML delivers the translations automatically or you must  fetch them manually.

To check your configuration, open the WPML->Translation Management and switch to Multilingual Content Setup tab. Locate the Translation Pickup mode section and check the selected option.

If you have selected the option Translation Service will deliver translations automatically using XML-RPC when the translation is ready in Cloudwords, it will be delivered to your website automatically. This means you are not required to click anything, simply wait until the translation is complete.
If you have selected the option The site will fetch translations manually, each time you want to download translations you must first open Translations Dashboard (WPML->Translation Management) and click the Check status and get translations button.

Current job status can be found on the Translation Jobs tab in the Status column.

Jobs marked In progress are those that are waiting for the translation to be delivered. For jobs marked as Complete, the translation has already been delivered and you can click on the Complete link to view.

Translation cancelation

If for some reason you do not want to translate pages sent from WPML to Cloudwords please remember the following:

  • You cannot manually delete jobs from the Translations Job tab on your website.
  • You can cancel the project and jobs only in Cloudwords.
  • From Cloudwords you can cancel only an entire project. You cannot cancel a single job (for example the translation of one page for one language pair).

If you have yet to complete the configuration in Cloudwords, open the Translation Jobs tab and click the batch name you want to cancel.

Click the batch name

This opens the Cloudwords page. On the top-right corner of this page, the Cancel project link is visible.

If you have completed the configuration, but have yet to accept bids, you can always open the project edit page and cancel project using the button at the bottom of the page.
Please remember that canceling projects for which you have already accepted a bid may incur costs from the vendor as work already completed.

Depending on your Translation Pickup mode configuration, information related to canceled projects may be delivered to your website automatically by means of XML-RPC. Otherwise you must click the Get completed translations button on the Translation Dashboard tab to fetch the changes.

WPML will remove all canceled jobs from the Translation Jobs tab.
