Background of the issue:
I am trying to send content for automatic translation using the 'Translate automatically' button. The feature used to work fine until today, and I don't remember making any changes in my WordPress setup that could have affected it.

Symptoms:
Clicking on 'Translate automatically' doesn't trigger any action. Nothing happens when I click the button.

Questions:
Why is the 'Translate automatically' button not working?
What could have caused the automatic translation feature to stop working?

At what point does this fatal error occur? If directly related to clicking the Translate automatically button, can you do this?

1. Edit wp-config.php and insert the following lines (just before /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ part)

define( 'WP_DEBUG', true);
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

2. Reproduce the issue.

3. Locate the debug log in: /wp-content/debug.log

4. Paste the latest lines here. No need to paste the entire log file, just 20 lines or so will do. Please censor any sensitive information.
