This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with a translated page where blocks are being deleted. They need to restart the translation process after these deletions and are also facing slow performance and timeouts, possibly due to the content volume within ACF. Additionally, the French version of the home page has lost most of its content blocks.
Solution:
We recommend checking the ATE Error log to identify potential causes for the issues. You can do this by navigating to WPML->Support->ATE Error log in your admin panel and reviewing the top 5 errors listed there. This step will help us understand what might be causing the block deletions and the slow translation process.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
Please can I chat again to Paola Mendiburu. I am working on a site under development and need to restart a translation process after a translated page has deleted blocks.

Symptoms:
The translated page deletes blocks.

Questions:
How can I restart a translation after a translated page deletes blocks?
Can I talk to Paola Mendiburu again about an ongoing topic?

If you have all gone home then I hope to chat to her again in 16 or so hours from now. Please note that I have followed all previous videos provided by her and there are still some aspects that are not translating. It is also awfully slow and keeps timing out. Perhaps due to the amount of content within ACF, though it's only trying to do 1 page so that's quite dissapointing if it is the case.

Also, the French version of the home page which I am testing the translate on, seems to have deleted most of the actual content blocks, so if someone can let me know how best to recopy across the content from the English one to a new /fr/ page that would be great, OR how best to start again with a new copied over page form the English one (without loosing all of the credits spent on translating it already) then that would be great thanks.

It's now been over an hour of still spinning trying to update. I tried to see if it was waiting for me to manually do something by clicking into the 'Translations' in the left nav of the admin page. Please see the image attached, I just get this error message now (while the page is still spinning.) PS. I'm on ultra fast, fibre optic connection.

Please note that you have opened an email support ticket instead of a chat, and yes most likely there was no supporter available for chat at the moment this was opened, but I'll be happy to further assist.

Go to WPML->Support->ATE Error log and share with me the top 5 errors from that page, this will allow us to get an idea on what might be causing this issue.

This resolved however it took 1 hour to auto translate 1 page, which is very upsetting. I will try more pages today and hope that the process isn't as long.
