Hi there,
I made a button inside Divi Theme Builder in English.(pic. 1)
The button is called "Contact Us" before, I just changed it to "Request a Quote". (pic.2 )
and then I used WPML translate the Chinese. (pic 3)
But, don't understand why it is not working? (pic. 4)
Pls. kindly advise, thanks a lot!

Thanks for your reply. I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your patience. I've checked your Website, and I noticed the floating button works fine on your Chinese language page hidden link as shown in the attached screenshot. Did you sort it out yourself?

Hi,

The translation is wrong! As you can see the floating button is "Request a Quote", in Chinese should be “產品報價”，but it is "聯絡我們” which in English is "Contact Us".

The floating button was Contact Us before, and we would like to change it to Request a Quote.

You can check the other 6 languages which are translated by WPML, those translation are incorrect.

Thanks for your reply. Your staging site keeps going down, as shown in the attached screenshot, and it's difficult for me to check. I will need a snapshot of the site to troubleshoot this further locally. Alternatively, with your permission, I can create one myself. For this purpose, I typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you're already familiar with Duplicator (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded. https://wpml.org/de/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

To guide you further, please adhere to these instructions:

1. View the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link

2. If the archive file exceeds 400MB, please use Duplicator's file filters to exclude cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.

Once you have the archive file ready, kindly share the link with us. You can utilize platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar for file sharing, as the snapshot file might be large.

Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the file link there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.

We are using Kinsta hosting and they had prepared a backup download link for you.

The backup will send to the email you provided before.

Pls. let me know if you haven't receive it. And I will use duplicator backup if the file from Kinsta is not ok for you.

Hi,

I made a video, pls. have a look of it.

1. EN page, button is Chinese, so, I go to Divi Builder changed it to EN.

2. TCH page, button is 聯絡我們, and I changed it to 詢問報價, but, after change, it is not working.

3. Go to EN page, the button became Chinese again!

I hope you get me point this time.

May I know if you received the backup that I sent it to (chai.kc@onthegosystems.com) last week?

Pls. kindly help me to solve this issue, thanks a lot!

Thanks for your reply. It seems to work fine when I disable the Global for the DIVI modules on this page hidden link .

Hi,

I tested Chinese translation, which is ok now, but, I found another problem, at Home page, the Footer is ok, but, other pages will show up doubled buttons. Pls. refer the picture.

BTW, I need this button show up on every pages, that is why I set it up as globe in Div.

Do I have to disable globe for this button to solve the translation issue? Is there other ways?

I found the doubled button, it was in the header.

But, I still need to know if there is a way not disable the globe?
