Hello

I’m experiencing an issue with the language switcher on mobile and tablet (burger menu). When I am browsing the site in French and use the flag in the mobile burger menu to switch to English, the link does not take me to the translated version of the page I am currently on. Instead, it sends me to an unrelated English page.

This happens on any page of the website, but only when using the mobile/tablet burger menu language switcher.
On desktop, the language switcher works correctly and sends me to the proper translated page.

I followed this method but it doesn't work: https://wpml.org/errata/wp-residence-main-menu-language-switcher-shows-wrong-urls/

I see the issue e.g. on hidden link, in the mobile it doesn't work, while it works properly in desktop, the language switcher takes me to hidden link

While we were working on this issue:
https://wpml.org/errata/wp-residence-main-menu-language-switcher-shows-wrong-urls/ the theme developers informed us that version 5.2.0 introduced a new solution for the language switcher and WPML integration.

According to the changelog:

Fix: Menu caching – active menu not displaying the correct active color, and WPML language switcher in the menu.

With that in mind, could you please confirm which theme version you are currently using?

At the moment, I only see the following installed:
WpResidence Child Theme – WpResidence – v1.0.1

Are you running the latest version of the parent theme? Also, does the issue occur when using the parent theme only (without the child theme)?

Hello,

We are working with the latest version of the WPResidence theme: 5.3.2.

The issue appears on both WPResidence Theme and Child Theme.

Can I ask you to install WPResidence 5.3.2 into the above sandbox and set the language switcher in the same way? I would like to test this here.

I've already configured WPML and created pages and menus.
