Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue where the Japanese slug /ja/business-intelligence/ conflicts with the English version. I attempted to change the slug to /business-intelligence-jp/ to make it work. When I try to change a page to /business-intelligence/, I encounter a 404 error. I have tried deleting the redirect in Yoast and changing the slug back to /business-intelligence/. Here is the current slug: hidden link. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.
Symptoms:
I get a 404 error when trying to change a page to /business-intelligence/.
Questions:
Why does changing the slug to /business-intelligence/ result in a 404 error?
How can I resolve the conflict between the Japanese and English slugs?
