Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

Please make sure that you have the "WPML add-on for LearnPress" add-on installed. Kindly check this page.

After installing the add-on, please check if the issue is fixed.

Best regards,
Osama

Thx for the information. I'll check that.

Just a quick question for LearnPress, what's the correct order to translate courses, quizzes & questions?

Course > Quiz > Question
or
Question > Quiz > Course

Hi,

I'm not sure, but I think it's better to translate Question > Quiz > Course.

Best regards,
Osama

I have this plugin installed. Isn't it the same as "WPML add-on for LearnPress"?

Hi,

Yes, this is the correct plugin. Please log in to this hidden link">sandbox site and install the LearnPress, LearnPress Pro, and LearnPress WPML plugins.

After that, please create a course and translate it to replicate the issue. If the issue is replicable, please let me know to consult our compatibility team.

Best regards,
Osama

If that is the correct plugin, why my site keep showing the attached notice?
I didn't see it before. What's the point to create a site in your sandbox? The problem happen in my site.

Hi,

1) The notice you see is not related to this issue. The notice indicates that WPML can't communicate with our API. Kindly check this page.

2) Replicating the issue on a clean installation with only WPML and LearnPress installed will isolate the issue and help us debug it further if it's a compatibility issue.

Best regards,
Osama

2) It's definitely not a compatibility issue. When I was working on my site few months ago, everything worked until recent. If it's compatibility issue, start from first day it will not work.

Now, not only the questions are not automatically added into the translated quiz, translating a question will not have answers preserved. Previously when I translate a question, the system will duplicate the question to create the second language, and all the answers for the second language are the same as first language. However, now the second language question do not have answers preserved. Please help.

Hi,

It could be a compatibility issue between the latest update. However, I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. The video is private, so I couldn't check it.

I created a new sandbox site, created a new quiz, and translated it along with its questions, which worked correctly.

Please log in to this hidden link">sandbox site and try to replicate the issue. If it is reproducible, please let me know how to reproduce it.

Best regards,
Osama

The password to open the video is itix2@23

I tried to do the same thing in your sandbox but it's ok, no problem in your site. Please check the video for the problem in my site. Thx.

Hi,

Thanks for the password. Please update WPML and LearnPress to the latest version on your site and check the issue.

If the issue persists, please let us know if the issue persists in a minimal environment by following these steps.

1- Deactivate all the plugins except those active ones on the sandbox site.
2- Switch to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-one.
3- Create a new quiz and translate it.

If the issue is gone, activate them one by one to see which one is causing an interaction issue.

❌ Please backup your database before performing the above test ❌

Best regards,
Osama
