We have always had a recurring problem with the translation of Avada Library Global Elements (Elements, Containers, Columns).
We create a translation, which then appears in the desired language. After a while, all texts (titles and text block) are back in the original language - with the exception of the texts in a button. You can see this in the screenshot: These are French texts, but switched back to English, only the buttons remained in French.
When I look in the backend of the translated library element, I see countless revisions that were not made manually, sometimes by users who didn't even work on them. You screenshot. You can then restore the translation in one of the old revisions, then it will be there again for a few hours, then it will be overwritten with English again.
Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.
This is certainly not expected behavior, and I don't see how WPML could cause revisions to be made unless you are using automatic translation. In WPML -> Settings, do you have your site set to automatically translate everything, or translate what you choose?
We will need to test minimal environment to rule out any possible conflict with another plugin/theme. Do you have a staging site where you can activate just WPML plugins and Avada parent theme so we can confirm it is happening in those settings? If not, let us know and we can set up a staging site and migrate a copy of your site there.
