I created a form in French with Gravity form.
I wanted to translate it in English, but in the translation editor, none of the form fields a shown. Only the form title and notification message.
Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
This is the form: hidden link
As you can see in the screenshots, the form as different fields, but none of them show up in the translation editor. And the English version of the form, the words (required/other) are automatically translated by WPML.
2. Do you see this issue with all your forms or only this one?
Please create a new form and check if you see the same issue when creating the translation.
But if I look a old forms (from 2020), I can translate the fields. So I guess Gravity form changed something in their last updates and WPML doesn't support it yet.
I see that I can translate the fields (and fields options) for my new forms when I go in the String Translation, but that really not convenient.
So what I understand is that the Gravity form plugin is partially broken and need an update. Can you confirm that and give an estimated time for an update?
I tested translating a Gravity form with the classic editor on a clean installation, but I couldn't replicate the issue (Please check the attached screenshot). You can also check the testing site with this link hidden link
Please create a full backup of the database and website then go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page, and click the following:
- Clear the Cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Fix WPML table collation
- Set language information
- Fix post type assignment for translations
Then update the original form with a small change and send it again for translation.
Let me know please how that goes.
