Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with WPML not automatically translating content when clicking the + sign to create a German version, it might be due to the settings or the need for an update.
Solution:
We recommend updating the page in the original language first. Once updated, WPML should automatically translate the content if 'Translate Everything Automatically' mode is enabled. Alternatively, you can manually send the page for automatic translation from the WPML → Translation Dashboard.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
