Problem:
You are developing a website and using WPML for French to Dutch translation. Although the translation of the main page is complete, the translation does not appear when switching languages via the menu, and the Dutch menu does not appear despite synchronization.
Solution:
We have identified that WPML String Translation might not be installed or activated on your site. We recommend installing or activating this component. After doing so, make a minor modification to the original page, save it, and then use the WPML translation editor to complete the translation.

Background of the issue:
I am currently developing a website and using WPML for the French to Dutch translation. The translation of the main page is complete.

Symptoms:

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

I have noticed that WPML String Translation is either not installed or not activated on your website. You need to install it or activate it if it is already installed.

After that, you should make a minor modification to the original page, save it, and then navigate to the WPML translation editor to complete the translation.

Hello, thank you. I downloaded and activated the extension. I made a modification to the page, completed the translation, but the Dutch page still contains the content of the French one.

Does the same happen for a new page? How did you create your main page?
