I made formatting changes to the footer. How do I pass those changes to translated pages without updating existing translations? |

Hi Marcel, My original footer disappeared. I may have used widgets to create that but I am not sure. The current footer I used Bold Builder to create, and inserted Custom Menus, (About Us) and (Resources). |

Hi, I see the footer has the same style/layout across languages, please check screenshots attached. Can you please share some screenshots of the issue on your end? If you see the issue with double footers when switching language on the homepage, it is the redirection from the homepage to the footer page in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). You can remove it in admin area > Yoast SEO > Redirects. Look forward to your reply. |

My question was a hypothetical one. I just wanted to know how I could make formatting changes to the default English Version, and promulgate those formatting changes to all previously translated pages without having to have all translators review. I now understand that I can send the page for translations and then quickly accept the translations myself. I apologize for this mundane question. That said, another issue I am having is that I inadvertently deleted my footer. I had to recreate the footer. and now I find that the language switcher is not synchronized correctly. From the home page, if you go to the language switcher at the bottom of the page, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, go to "Footer 2" instead of the homepage. Vietnamese is going to the wrong page as well. Only Thai is going to the translated Thai home page. I need your help to correct this problem and assist me with using the WP Menu Sync. I am having a hard time getting this updated and synchronized. I am also probably causing problems because I have manually translated the Traditional Chinese menu. |

Hi, The issue with the language switcher on the homepage is already mentioned above. It's the redirection from Yoast SEO plugin. You can delete the redirection and recheck this issue. We can handle one issue per ticket only. If you see the main issue of this ticket with the translation footer in other languages is resolved, please mark it as Resolved. Thanks. |
