Hi,

I have successfully installed WPML Multilingual CMS (had to install version 4.6.9) and have gone ahead and done the translations via the automatic translation feature. From what I can tell ive done everything correctly but im having an issue. Currently the only thing that is translating when I switch languages on the live site is the footer and the header, the content of the body sections of all my pages is not being translated. Can you assist with this by either telling me what to do to fix it or give me a step by step process of what to check/common mistakes that might be preventing this from working?

That would be much appreciated.

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

I check the translation content on your site and understand the issue. I suggest you edit the page in the original language > Make a small change to the page content > Save > Update the translation and see if it helps.

If it does not help, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.

You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
