Background of the issue:
I am trying to update the pages for other language from Swedish to English.

Symptoms:
Pages are not reloading after completing translation. I expected to see the stylings updated and the issues resolved, but instead, I got a gear icon instead of a pen icon.

Questions:
Why are the pages not reloading after translation?
Why am I seeing a gear icon instead of a pen icon?

When we update the stylings for instance say the default home page in swedish. and click on translate for english, expecting both the stylings and new translations to be reflected it doesnt. Infact it just shows this gear icon

Hello,

Please go to WPML->Support->ATE Error logs and share the top 5 errors you see logged in that screen.

Also in the meantime try this> make a small edit to the default language page, and update, then update the translation again, does that help?

Yes making small edits and updating them used to work but not all the time, and not anymore!

Did you recently migrate the site?

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.

At the moment I am not able to reproduce this behavior, I have tested with the homepage. Is there a specific page you can reproduce this behavior with on the staging site?

The thing is on the staging site the WPML has regenerated well but on the main site its still the same

Is it possible to provide me access to the live site where the issue is present? I will not make any changes rather simply examine the behavior and try to log what is causing it.

Do the same credentials provided already work for the live site?

If not I have re-enabled the private field reply.

Hi there,

Between the 2 sites shared with me I noticed there is a different organization ID -- is this done on purpose or should the 2 environments share the same organization ID?

Live site(where the issue can be reproduced) - 44f66898-8e6e-43e5-a3fd-ac0b1aff39df

Staging (issue can't be reproduced) - 5d56a2a2-d230-4355-a5d0-20b97d317ee8

Also, I was able to resolve almost all the pages that were 'stuck' except the checkout page as you can see in the video.

Do I have your permission to install the plugin Yoast Duplicate, to create a duplicate of that page and attempt to re-translate it? This usually creates a new ID in the system for the page allowing us to move forward in the case of a corrupted ID.

Yes please move forward with that. Thank you. Just FYI i have tried the method of duplicating the pages, it did work but the bug popped up regardless.

Alos please tell me what did you do to remove it from the 'stuck' state.
