Problem With Yoast Term Strings

Background of the issue:
I have translated and successfully uploaded a .po file that translates the Yoast SEO Term Strings for my site hidden link, but WPML still doesn't recognize my translations.

Symptoms:
WPML shows 939 strings that need translation despite the .po file being uploaded.

Questions:
Why doesn't WPML recognize my translations after uploading the .po file?
How can I ensure that the Yoast SEO Term Strings are properly translated in WPML?
