Hey there, WPML requires that the translated segment contains the same HTML marker structure as the original. To achieve that, you can select the words in the translation, and add the marker by clicking on the colored boxes, so that they match the original. Another easier option, is to copy the text from the original, and only substitute it with the translation. When copying, the markers are also copied over with the same structure. Let me know if that fixes it for you. |

Hello, can you share some screenshots or do it for me on our website? I have a lot of content with markup links, we are stuck here. This is such a waste of time that there is not option available to just insert the link. We are working on a deadline and seriously need PRACTICAL help. |

I'll record a video showing the steps I described. For this I would need temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site, preferably to a test/staging site where the problem has been replicated if possible. The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it. I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you. IMPORTANT Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access. - If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, this means your post and site login details are being made PUBLIC. We are using Pay as you Go subscription for WPML. I translated the taxonomy fields and set Translate Everything Automatically. The process began very quickly and it started putting translations in the queue and preparing more content for translation. The credentials you sent are unfortunately invalid. I triple-checked and I'm getting and error: "ERROR: The username or password you entered is incorrect. Lost your password?" I've enabled the private fields, so you can share the correct credentials again. About the stuck translations, it's likely that you've reached the 100 EUR limit. WPML requires a payment after reaching the first 100 EUR, so users don't overspend. Please check your e-mail and WPML > Translation Management > Tools, and check if you have any open amounts. I'm in touch with the accounts team to confirm that. |

Who are you to decide what number of areas you will list? We are paying for everything? And we did spend a lot of time translating all the areas and then putting all the content in taxonomy section and today we are seeing that this is all empty. All 23 pages are empty. Are you serious? What the hell is going on here? Why you will show just the 1000 areas? Why? |

Hey there, Thank you for waiting. We answer within a 24-hour time frame, except for weekends. Our queue's been pretty high as of lately, so our waiting time is a bit longer than usual. I understand you have a deadline, and I will do my best to offer you a solution that helps you meet this deadline. First, I was able to login to your website and checked that it has a great deal of content (583 posts, 5522 pages, 1438 real estate items, 52600 media items, and smaller amounts of other post types), which impacts performance and uses many server resources. I'm telling that, because WPML is deeply rooted on the website and is impacted by it. I also noticed that "Translate Everything Automatically" got stuck due to that, so I paused it. Let's address your questions one by one. My goal here is to offer you a solution that works on the short-term, so you can meet your dead-line, ok? I'm focusing on the short-term solution for you. 1. Translate to Azerbaijani. Since I paused Translate Everything Automatically, as it got stuck likely due to performance, I recommend you send your content to translation in smaller batches, via WPML > Translation Management. I've recorded a video showing the process: hidden link Try not to exceed 100 items per batch. I know this takes a lot more effort, but again, since you have a deadline, it's best to follow a safe path. We can check your website's performance after that, ok? 2. Translate to Russian. Again, since I paused Translate Everything Automatically, you can create your content with no worries, and follow the same steps I showed in the video above to translate your Russian content. 3. The error message. The error message you're seeing was due to problems with automatic translation. It's very likely that this happened because your website is very resource intensive, and the server resources weren't enough to translate all your content at once. I'm not completely able to confirm that as of right now, but we can check that once you meet your deadline and translate the content to Azerbaijani and Russian. 4. The Area taxonomy. This happens again because of performance, but it's easy to deal with. Filter the Areas to only show untranslated items. This way, once you translate an item, it's undisplayed from the list, and you can keep on translating until there are no untranslated items left. Check the image attached. _______________ Since your website is resource intensive and your website automatic translation got stuck, I'll show you a technique to unstuck your translations, in case it happens again. Please note that it usually takes a couple of minutes for content to get translated, so if you wait a while and notice that your translations are not moving forward, follow the steps shown in the video below: hidden link Simply go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting and click on "Cancel in-progress automatic jobs". Don't click anywhere else. Translate your content in small batches and make sure to create website backups often. Don't reactivate "Translate Everything Automatically" for now. Let me know how it goes, or if you have other questions. |

Dear Lucas, Thank you very much for helping us out with so much information. This was very helpful. I was able to translate all our properties and menus etc. Here are a few things that needs to be fixed as a priority, only 1 day left in our launch. We have translated all pages into Azerbaijani language, still the pages in header and footer takes to the English pages. This needs to be fixed as the top most urgent priority. Please help us fix this. Secondly, you will see that the buttons on the Search Area are showing Text in English, these should be in Azerbaijani, this text is showing fine in the header, but buttons do not translate. Thirdly, when you open any property, its fields are translated into Azerbaijani, but fields headings are still showing in English, which gives a wrong impression. Kindly, help us to fix the buttons text and menu links, the website should not go back to original language once we click translate, also all links should work fine. Thank you and best regards, |

Hey there, Thank you for waiting. I couldn't create a copy of your website - I tried different techniques, but couldn't get the copy to be finished. In this case, please make sure to have a full website backup and follow the steps for each solution. 1. Menu In this case, it's best that you create your Mega Menu manually, for Azerbaijani. 1. Go to Appearance > Menus; 2. Search feature and other fields It's very likely that those fields need to be translated in WPML > String Translation. 1. Go to WPML > Theme and plugin localization; Let me know if these solutions work for you. |
