This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was facing an issue where string translations were not showing on the front-end of their website, despite having updated translations and plugins.
Solution:
We recommended checking if the theme used on the site was updated to the latest version. The client confirmed that updating the theme resolved the issue, and the string translations started appearing on the front-end.

If you're experiencing similar issues, we recommend ensuring that your theme is updated to the latest version. Background of the issue:
I'm trying to get the translations right on the site. Unfortunately, the string translations do not show up on the front-end. I've tried following multiple fix tutorials - increased the memory size, removed the strings, updated translations, updated plugins, etc. Nothing seems to work. Symptoms:
String translations are not showing on the front-end. For example, under the product view, 'Only % left in stock.' is translated both under translation management and string translations but is not showing up on the front-end.

Questions:
Why are the string translations not showing on the front-end?
What additional steps can I take to resolve this issue?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. As mentioned in the chat I will appreciate it if you could install the Elessi theme and add a sample products to investigate the string translation compatibility issue.

The WordPress installation to check is:

Hey,

I think got it fixed thanks to you!

The theme did not update it to the latest version. I reinstalled it and by the first glimpse everything seems to be working now.

Thanks!
