Background of the issue:
I’m contacting you about an issue on a client’s site where theme strings that are correctly translated in WPML are no longer displayed on the frontend. The strings come from a custom theme and are registered in code like this: __('Original string', 'cammini'). All theme strings were found and translated in WPML, and up to about two months ago they displayed on the frontend without any problem. No WPML settings were changed around the time this started. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
Some (previously working) strings show only the source language on the frontend, even though their translations are present and correct in WPML → String Translation.

Questions:
Could you please advise next troubleshooting steps that don’t require deactivating plugins or relying on an up-to-date staging environment?
If there are WPML-specific maintenance actions (e.g., String Translation cache rebuilds, domain or package consistency checks, table cleanups, or diagnostics you recommend) I can safely run on production, I’m happy to try them.
