Hello,

We are having issues with translating our home page. English version of the website homepage does not match Lithuanian version of it. It probably comes from issues with banners, but we failed to sort this out ourselves. It leads to very slow loading times and abnormally increased load on our server resources. We contacted our host and they said that our website is causing issues to their whole system. They did some initial error fixing, but we were told to sort this out with you. Mentioned that there is something wrong with our database.

Could you please help us find why this is happening? And how can we make changes to our homepage without causing all these errors?

Error messages that we received during the last couple of days were: error establishing a database connection and 404 errors

Please try suggested solution shared for images / banner. If that works fine, please confirm and we can then continue on your performance issue and I will have a further look.

Make sure to create a backup just in case, as I might need to disable plugins / themes.

Hello,

Solution for the images/banner worked. But we have another mismatch between homepage in english and lithuanian. Homepage is fully translated from english to lithuanian with all given fields completed, but the lithuanian version does not update. Could you please help?

We still experience issues with website crashing as discussed earlier.

I have just tried to re-translate, and it shows sup fine, please check.

I have also checked your website, and it is now speeding fast, it opens in around 2s, which seems to be fine, not sure if you did something but seems also your performance issue was fixed in the meantime.

Hello.

Thank you very much for your help. The screenshot part in my previous message looks good now. But another problematic part appeared now that does not translate correctly. Please see screenshots. English version is how it is supposed to look. Lithuanian version is now partly translated and does not show products.

It seems that, for some reason, our home page is problematic with translations. Is there anything inherently wrong in there that errors keep happening? Is there a way for us to know how to fix these issues ourselves? We try that before contacting you, but we lack knowledge how to do it.

Appreciate your help!

Regarding your questions — we’re always happy to help, so feel free to reach out anytime. As for the homepage issue, I’m not entirely sure what caused it. It worked correctly for me after re-translating, so it might have been related to a browser add-on you may that is blocking translation or some of the steps / settings you did in the menatime. If you continue to experience any problems, please let me know in the new ticket and I’ll be glad to assist.

Since the original issue is now resolved, I suggest we close this ticket.
