This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

I modify something in the original language. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Síntomas:
In the advanced translator there are translations that have disappeared.
Preguntas:
Why are translations disappearing in the advanced translator?
How can I prevent translations from disappearing when I modify the original language?
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link
Thanks for sending credentials. I tested the homepage since it had a translation for Catalan that was complete. I first checked the translation and confirmed it showed 100% translated. I then edited the homepage by adding a space at the end of the line "TMC is open to Mediterranean, European, and other international partners. "
Next, I saw the translation showed as needing an update (the round icon with an arrow). When I edit the tranlsation, I see it is at 97% and the line that I updated is showing as needing translation, which is expected. I will attach screenshots. I saved the one line that needed an update and clicked the button to complete translation. I then waited for the page to reload and saw the pencil icon. When I clicked the pencil icon to edit the translation, it still showed as 100% translated.
Can you please tell me specifically which page you are working on when this is happening to you and outline step by step what changes you are making? Include the URL, where you are clicking to edit the translation, and any additional screenshots so that I can try and retrace your steps and reproduce the issue.
Hello:
The page hidden link and the page hidden link are the translations of hidden link
These pages appear fully translated in the front-end but in the back-end (in the advanced translator) some of them have disappeared.
Right now those translations do not appear with the pencil because I went to see the translations and they appear at 97%. But in the front-end they are complete.
Thanks for your help
Thank you for sending a page to test. I went in and edited the Spanish translation and made sure it showed 100% translated. I then reopened the Spanish translation using the WPML editor, and it still shows 100%. What are the steps you are taking on this page that show it less than 100% after completing the translation?
I'm not sure which language you tested in your last screenshots. I had only completed Spanish in my earlier testing. I opened the English page, and clicked the cog icon next to Spanish to edit in the Advanced Translation Editor. It still shows 100% translated for me. I just saved Catalan, set it to 100% and when I opened it a second time, it remained at 100%.
I have created a screencast so that you can see my steps: hidden link
If you are following different steps, please let me know so that I can try to reproduce.
