This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is using WPML to translate content on their site and is concerned about using a high number of translation credits for minor changes in a Gravity Form. Specifically, the client is worried about being charged for around 3457 words each time a single word is changed.
Solution:
We reviewed the client's site's credit ledger and confirmed that there are no duplicate charges for 3457 words. WPML uses translation memory, which ensures that only the necessary credits are used for changes made. If you're experiencing similar issues, we recommend checking your site's credit ledger for any discrepancies and ensuring that WPML's translation memory is functioning correctly. If the problem persists, please consider providing us temporary access to your site to further investigate the issue. Before granting access, ensure you have taken a full backup of your database and website. We often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose.

Please note that the solution provided might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, do not hesitate to open a new support ticket for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am using WPML to translate content on my site hidden link. I am making single word changes to a Gravity Form and want to ensure these changes are translated efficiently.

Symptoms:
I am concerned that I am using a lot of translation credits for small changes, as it seems I am being charged for around 3457 words each time I make a single word change.

Questions:
How can I ensure that a Gravity Form with a word change only uses a few credits for changing one or two words?

Hi there,

What is the URL or job ID (the URL shows the job id) that you are editing?

When I review your site's credit ledger, I do not see any duplicate charges for 3457.

WPML utilizes translation memory therefore a single change should not cost you more credits than needed.

Hi - thanks for this. The URL of the form is:

hidden link

Is this what you need - not sure where the job ID is.

I'm also struggling to translate the text on this page:

hidden link

Can you let me know how to go about this?

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.

Thank you,
Bobby

I think I have managed to find it by taking a look around the other functionality in the plugin - thank you for this.

Another question though! Is it possible to translate the automatic email that is sent via wordpress to new users with their password information and username information? This currently goes out as English only - I'm not sure this will be possible to also have it available as another language?

If you could let me know what your views are on the additional question that would be great.
