[Closed] Using a single "Header" or "Footer" section throughout multiple languages

Hello WPML staff, I am working on a local WordPress test site (two languages) with Avada + WPML. This is what I am trying to achieve:

In Avada I use Avada Layouts and Avada Layout Sections to manage the basic sitewide sections of the website such as Header and and Footer, to put it simple.

My idea is to create a single sitewide "Footer" area which can be used in all languages.

Doing this will enable me to work on a single Footer structure, and not one for each language, so that in case I have to update it with new columns or elements, I will do it just on one section for all languages.

Is there a way to achieve this? How should I manage text and content to have it fit in the single Footer structure?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

1) You will create the footer one time in the default language, then translate it using the WPML translation editor to the other languages.

After that, if you want to update the design or the content, you do it only in the default language and update the translation using the translation editor.

2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?

The debug info will give me much information about how your site is configured.
