Background of the issue:
We are developing a site and encountering issues with the 'WPML Translation Dashboard' banner. We have multiple thousand users, and explaining how to close the banner to each user is not feasible.

Symptoms:
The 'WPML Translation Dashboard' banner is causing issues with saving pages. For some users, the banner reappears even after closing it with the 'X'.

Questions:
Is there a way to remove the 'WPML Translation Dashboard' banner completely?
Can we use a variable in our config to disable the banner?

Hi,

Reference to our recent chat, I moved to this ticket for further investigation.

I checked again in my sandbox site and was able to get rid of that banner, after selecting "Advanced Translation Editor" (or ATE) option in WPML -> Settings -> Translation Editor section.

The banner appears in case of no selection was made or the "Classic Translation Editor" (or CTE) is selected.

Can you please check your WPML -> Settings -> Translation Editor choice and see if you can select ATE and can get rid of the banner? And in this case, if that inline issue of "white page" is resolved too?

Please let me know your findings.

Regards.

Thank you for the updates.

I need to take a closer look at your site. So I request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP), preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your next answer will be private, to share this information safely.

Also provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue and links to pages in the admin and on the frontend.

IMPORTANT: Please take a complete backup of the site to avoid data loss. I may need to activate/deactivate plugins also.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

P.S.: If you don't see the section for providing access information, do not write in the message box or the information may appear as public.

P.S.: I'll be off over the weekend and 'll be able to attend on Monday.
