Problem:
You are experiencing an issue with excessive translation credits being charged when using WPML to translate your webshop from Slovene to three other languages. Specifically, you are being charged multiple times for the same text in product variations and for translations from English to English. You are also concerned about how the word count for translations is being calculated.
Solution:
We have confirmed that Translation Memory does not work within the same job, which means that in this case, multiple credits may be used even for repeated content. Translation Memory can only be populated once a job is completed, and similar content appearing in future jobs will not benefit from previously stored translations.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my webshop from Slovene to three other languages using WPML. I have set everything up, and it works, but I am experiencing an issue with the number of credits being charged. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. An example product that took 15746 credits on DeepL is here: hidden link.

Symptoms:
I am being charged an excessive amount of credits, over 4,000,000 for 1.7 languages. Single posts are taking up to 15,000 credits each. Texts in product variations, which are in English and the same across variations, are being charged multiple times. This results in being charged for translations from English to English, and the word count calculation seems incorrect.

Questions:
Why am I being charged multiple times for the same text in product variations?
Why am I being charged for translations from English to English?
How is the word count for translations being calculated?

Hello,

thank you for partial refund and you should really fix this issue.

Now, I have other problem. I have "158 automatic translations are in progress" but I want to cancel this and repair post so they don't have addittional content whis is false. I will basicly delete this content.
But this is allready in progres and probably sent on. How do I stop this automatic translations.

Never mind above post. I found solution and manage to cancel all translation jobs.
