This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with incorrect hypertext links in the English version of a footer created using the DIVI theme builder on a bilingual website. While the first link was correct, the other four were pointing to incorrect URLs.
Solution:
We reviewed the setup and found that the links were added using HTML in a single field, which WPML could not automatically adjust. We located the links for translation within WPML's String Translation by searching for a part of the HTML code. After adjusting the English translation to include the '/en/' in the links, the issue was resolved. We asked the client to test and confirm if the solution was effective.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated, we recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I'm building under this pre-prod environment a DIVI-based site hidden link. Central -default Lang (hidden link) = FRENCH. While the site has EN version through hidden link. FRENCH version has its footer created through 'DIVI theme builder'. DIVI support has a documentation on how to translate via WPML a footer built through 'DIVI theme builder' which I followed strictly which enabled me to have perfect translation of the texte: The FR Footer display the FR TEXTS (hidden link) And EN footer displays the EN TEXTS (hidden link).

Symptoms:
The hypertext links in the central column of the EN footer are not pointing to the correct EN service pages. The 1st link marked in GREEN 'The Health Division' points correctly to the relevant EN service page at hidden link. While all other 4 other links (marked in RED) point to the incorrect URLs.

Questions:
Could you please advise how I should proceed to adjust the links pointed through the EN footer at hidden link?

Hello David,

I checked your video and with the access you provided and the links are added to a single field using html.

I'm afraid that WPML won't be able to automatically adjust the links in this specific configuration.

I was able to locate the links for translation within WPML -> String Translation by searching for a small part of the HTML code:

hidden link

After that I adjusted the English translation including the /en/ to the links and that seems to have fixed it.

Can you please test it to make sure it is OK now?

Best,
Mateus

Thank you Mateus, you indeed nailed it and the footer links are now all pointing to relevant links under the EN site, well done and thanks!
I noted the trick you did and won't hesitate to re-use it in case of reoccurence.
Have a nice shift
