This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is attempting to translate the footer on their website using WPML but is encountering issues where the footer is not being translated.
Solution:
We recommended checking how the footers are added. If they are added through a footer template or the WordPress widgets area, different approaches might be needed:
1. If the footer is set in the Houzez theme, we advised checking the compatibility and translation guidelines here: Creating Multilingual Real Estate Sites with Houzez Theme and WPML. It's important to note that Houzez may not be fully compatible with WPML.
2. If there is an Elementor footer template, we suggested following the steps outlined here: Creating Different Elementor Templates per Language with WPML and here: How to Translate Elementor with WPML.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
