Background of the issue:
I am trying to add a new language (Spanish) to my site, which is originally in English and has French content translated manually using ATE. I want to translate the Spanish content automatically. I noticed that glossary terms are not updated after I manually modify automatically translated pages during the review phase. Here is the link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
For automatically translated pages that have been manually modified during the review phase, glossary terms are no longer updated, even after using the 'Update existing translation' feature in the WPML glossary.
Questions:
Is this the expected behavior?
Wouldn't it be relevant and beneficial for glossary terms to still be updated at least in parts of the content that were not manually edited via ATE?
I asked to be put in touch with someone from the development team or a technical specialist who can shed light on the actual behavior of ATE and glossary integration (instead of troubleshooting the environment) because I don't know if this is expected behavior or a bug
I’ve confirmed this is expected behavior, once a translation is manually edited in ATE, glossary terms no longer apply with the “Update existing translations” button, even to untouched sections of the page. This is by design, as the content is considered customized.

Yes, feel free to submit it as a feature request. I understand this might be considered an edge case, but in some workflows (like ours), it would be quite useful to allow glossary updates to still apply to untouched segments, even after partial manual edits. That way, we could preserve consistency across large multilingual sites without losing the benefits of glossary automation.
