Hi,
Impossible to translate products. Example - Product is originally created in Lithuanian language. Pressing button "+" to translate into english (screenshot attached) on a product edit level redirects to WPML Translation queue, where it tries to do something and at the end displays "No data". Screenshots attached.

WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency is installed. "Cancel in-progress automatic jobs" done. Did not help.

* **"Remove ghost entries from the translation tables"**
* **"Fix element_type collation"**
* **"Set language information"**
Done. Did not help.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

Did you complete the Setup Wizard for WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce? See WooCommerce > WCML.

It also might be the case that there are issues on your site that do not allow WPML to synchronize translation jobs.

Please go to WPML > Support > Installer Support and click "Check now".
- Do you see any issues, like API connection or site key registration issues?

Also, go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting, and in the top section, you will find an ID that relates to the Advanced Translation Editor. Please copy and paste this ID in your next reply or send me a screenshot.

Further, it might be the case that a third plugin or server limitation is causing the issue.

I can offer to take a closer look at the site as an admin user if you would like to provide me with access.

You'll find the required fields below the comment section when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to create a backup of your website and database before granting us access.

If you don't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your login credentials for the post and website are set to "PUBLIC." Do NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

The private reply form looks like this:

Not any translation seems to work on your site. I tried editing an existing or creating a new one for posts, and I can see the same issue.

The issue even persists when using the Classic Translation Editor.

To investigate this issue further, I am about to install the plugin "All In One WP Migration" to take a local copy of the website for testing.

Once I am done with this task I will reach out again.

Revising WooCommerce > WCML > Support I see a config issues on your site.

Reason:
At WPML > Settings > Post Types Translation, the type "Variantai (product_variation)" was set to "Translatable use translation if available or fallback to default language" which is not recommended. I have adjusted the setting to "Translatable
only show translated items".

Further, at WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation, many fields were set to "Translate" while those fields did not contain text values. If a custom field contains an ID, numeric value, or setting, it should not be set to "Translate", as otherwise WPML will attempt to make it available on the WPML Translation Editor. Such fields should be set to "Copy" if you need the same value or setting in all languages.

I have adjusted the settings for your custom fields.

Now, please complete the permalink translations at WooCommerce > WCML > Store URLs for all languages for:
Shop page parduotuve
Product base product
Product category base product-category
Product tag base product-tag

After that edit, try the product translation. If it still fails, please send me a link to an example product.

I am currently working on the staging. I have now translated the Shop URLs.

Could you please try to translate one of the products there and let me know if it works out?

If the issue is solved, I can offer to revisit the live site and verify the settings there.

There is an error in the system due to an old job from 2023 that was never fully completed. The job ID is 83605062.

Permalink: hidden link (no longer existing)

This is likely the reason why you still see this notification on the Translation Dashboard:
1 automatic translation is in progress

I have tried solving this issue by using WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > Cancel in-progress automatic jobs, but had no success. The jobs cancellation has failed.

To solve this issue, I need access to the database of the site. Sadly, the hosting does not allow the usage of plugins for this purpose.

Would it be possible for you to provide me access to your hosting panel?

The private reply form is enabled again.

I can sadly no longer log in to your staging site.

Regarding wordpress.com:
The issue here is that we can not access databases on their hosting platform, as they do not allow it. If I am not able to access the database, I might not be able to fix this issue.

Automattic Support Boundaries
WordPress.com hosting is a managed environment. You don’t get raw database access, and Automattic staff don’t execute SQL queries for individual customers.

Their support scope is limited to dashboard-level troubleshooting, plugin/theme guidance (depending on your plan), and account/billing issues.

They can sometimes reset settings, clear caches, or restore backups internally, but they won’t run custom queries in your site’s MySQL tables.

WPML Context
WPML is a plugin that depends on direct database tables (wp_icl_translations, wp_icl_translation_jobs, etc.).

On WordPress.com, you cannot access those tables directly, so you can’t manually fix orphaned jobs or translation records.

Automattic support won’t intervene at the SQL level — that’s outside their scope.

---

For deeper fixes (like manual SQL cleanup), you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.org site or a host that gives you phpMyAdmin/SSH access.

Do you maybe have a way to migrate this site to a different hosting environment to fix the database and then migrate it back to wordpress.com? I can offer an instance on our test server on Cloudways for this purpose, only please verify first with wordpress.com if such a process could be possible with your hosting account.
