Background of the issue:
I'm trying to sync the post status between languages on my site hidden link. All posts that were set as Draft before and are now Published are still on Draft in the French language. The most annoying issue is that we have a lot of posts set to Scheduled. The French posts are still set to Draft. I've tried the 3/4 different scripts and solutions from your support forums.
Symptoms:
Posts that were set as Draft before and are now Published are still on Draft in the French language. Scheduled posts in the original language remain as Draft in French.
Questions:
How can I sync the post status between languages using WPML?
Why are my Scheduled posts not updating to Published in the French language?
This seems to only work for publishing new posts and deleting the posts.
Changing the post status to "Planned" with a date in the future does not sync between languages on our website.
Languages: English (English )Spanish (Español )German (Deutsch )

Yes, this is expected, as this option only takes action of the original post is published.
Apart from that, the posts will not be synced. This means you can set different post statuses in different languages, which is expected by most of our users.
The only thing I could offer at this point is opening a feature request for a new document translation options setting. Would you like me to proceed?
Yes, please open a feature request. We plan ahead a lot of posts and in multiple languages. This will take a lot of time to plan the same posts in multiple languages separately.

Ok, so I understand correctly that you expect that if an original post is scheduled, then you would expect the translated post to have the same scheduled date?
On my test site, this works as expected.
1) Create a post and set a schedule date
2) Translate the post
The translated post will have the same schedule date. You will only need to update the translation.
Thanks for the sandbox. At first test it seems to work when publishing straight away.
However, when first saving the post as a Concept > Translate > Publish/Planned/In review, the translations are not synchronised, even when re-saving the translation (just changing post status keeps the pencil icon).

I just created a "Pending" post and translated it, and the status is synced perfectly.
I suspect you are not using the same workflow.
I create the post in English (site default language), set the status, and save the post. Then I translate it using the WPML Translation Editor to 100% and the status is correctly copied over.
This will only work after the post has been translated for the first time. If you change the statuses afterwards that, it is expected that you can have different statuses in different languages.

Yes, this is expected, as many users would expect this behavior after the posts have been translated already.
While I can not promise that such a feature will be made possible, I can offer to open a feature request for adding a document translation option that keeps post statuses in sync after they have been translated for the first time.
