This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The client is unable to find a bulk option to update translations for all products on their site after a recent update. They previously used a pencil icon for confirmation but now need to update translations in bulk for about 2500 products in 5 languages. Additionally, an ACF custom field set to 'Don't Translate' is causing issues by requiring updates across all languages.

Solution:

We recommend the following steps:

1. Ensure that the translation preference for the ACF custom field is set to 'Don't Translate'.

2. If updating translations in bulk is necessary and the standard bulk option is not working, you may need to deactivate the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin temporarily. This allows updating products in batches (20, 50, or 100 at a time).

3. Always ensure to perform a full site backup before making bulk updates to prevent data loss.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check for related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to update translations for all products on my site hidden link. There are about 2500 products, each with translations in 5 languages. Previously, I could confirm translations with just a pencil icon, but now I need to update them in bulk.

Symptoms:
I cannot find a bulk option to update translations after a recent update.

Questions:
How can I update all product translations in bulk using WPML?

In ACF we have an extra field note. This has been around for years. But when you updated your plugin, it asked how we wanted to translate this. Not, because it is only for ourselves. However, it did end up in the translation. I turned off the field for translation, but now the update persists for all languages for all our products. But having to update them all by hand (actually no update) is not really a solution. I would like something from update all

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. Just to make sure, have you set the translation preference of the following custom field as *Don't translate*.

Does it happen with most of the products when you upgrade WPML to the 4.6.13 or 4.6.14 version? If so, which version of WPML you were using before?

Hi Bigul,

The field for ACF is set to "Don't Translate." But even when I change that, there are a lot of products with an update status instead of the pencil. If I go to a product and launch it, it is translated 100%, and if I click update, it transforms into the pencil icon. But I cannot do that for 1200 products and 5 languages, of course.

Is there a way to update them all at once? The bluk option (see screenshot) is not working for this.

I don't know my previous WPML number.

Hello,

As of now, there is no single option or feature to update the Product and its translations in bulk. But we can update the Products as a batch of 20, 50, or 100 products. But you have to deactivate the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin for that.

So please try it after a full site backup and let us know your feedback.
