This has happened twice now.
We have header template part in Norwegian language and translated to English.
Second time now English translation disappeared. I had to send it back to translation job although it was already translated. After translating it again some of the strings are still untranslated.
This is site I am developing for client: hidden link
As you can see English version of site has some items in main menu, top menu, search bar untranslated.
I searched for string also in string translations and there are some weird strings with domain for example "gutenberg-80" and containing whole html of part of the header template part. There is English translation added for this but not visible on English page.
I will add the first reply before this ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.
First thing to check is if the issue is happening with the default theme that you use without any third plugins or not.
That will give us a better idea if this is a compatibility issue with the "Haus Block Theme" or not.
- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to "Haus Block Theme" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.
If the problem persists, please login to the dashboard of the clean installation of WordPress and WPML below to install the "Haus Block Theme" and replicate the issue there so we can report this to the compatibility team:
